Our honeymoon at Estuary Island was the most exhilarating experience of my life. On our arrival at Thiruvananthapuram, the resort provided a free pick up for me from the airport. We were given a graceful welcome by the hotel’s executive.
We stayed at Estuary Garden Cottage; it was like having the luxury of elegant modern lifestyle resort with the privacy and seclusion of our very own villa. Every morning, it was bliss to look at the lush green garden area and the beautiful walkways from the window of our cottage. It also overlooked the serene backwaters and the breath-taking beach. It was as if we were experiencing an oasis of peace and tranquillity at this resort.
The restaurants at Estuary Island offer an array of food options ranging from Asian fusion to Mediterranean cuisine. After having our buffet breakfast, we spend our time enjoying the tropical luxury of the dense palm groves and Kerala backwaters. In the evening, we enjoyed deck dining; we were offered an extensive spectrum of delicacies. We also enjoyed various recreational facilities that included the ayurvedic massages at Vaidyasala, the swimming pool, fitness centre and games. Moreover, the staff at the resort were exceptionally helpful and courteous; they took care of us at every level possible.
